Last Year, two veterans from New Horizon's Church seen a need to have a place for Veterans to go and find others with their experiences, or love of our great country in a neutral, non-alcoholic environment.  All branches, all eras, young and old. We can all learn from each other's experiences and together find friendship, resources and support.
While both Veteran reps are Christians, the group is open to all veterans, and active-duty soldiers. We both served alongside diverse people, cultures and beliefs. We trusted our lives with them. Here we will continue to serve our brothers and sisters. Mike's extensive Vietnam combat background in the Marines, and my  background as a woman in the Army during the Desert Storm era can understand those having endured deployments, family separations, learning to handle the effects of Post-Traumatic Stress (both in war and at home). We hope to connect to all those that join us. 
    This next year we are hoping to get out and enjoy the outdoors in easily accessible fishing spots, kayaking and more for those fighting disabilities. We meet every first Tuesday of the month for breakfast and encouragement at various local breakfast spots so keep looking below for our next meeting, also make sure to text during in climate weather if it has been changed. 360-751-8483
