Where are You Going When You Take Your Last Breath?

Mountains Meet Lake

Every human being since their beginning of existence to this time forward will face the answer to that question: No one escapes it. There are many guesses, debates, hopes, philosophies, and theologies that try to fill in this gap. Who is right?

If you are not sure of where you are going upon death, you sure can be! There is hope in a world that is full of hopelessness. And there is an absolute truth in a world of uncertainties.

Let me introduce you to the one who created all things, and therefore gives full meaning to our very existence, and who wonderfully answers that question. He has made Himself known to us through a book that is the most loved, and yet, is the most hated: The Bible.   He also makes Himself known to every person that asks Him, in a very personal way: No one knows you more intimately than He does.

This Creator loves you deeply and has done everything possible to make a way for you to know Him and live with Him for all eternity. His name is Jesus!

The Bible says:

“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son (Jesus), so that
everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him."

There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son.” John 3:16-18

God Laid it out so simply...

“For Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” Romans 10:13

And...
“... if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

For the Scripture says, ‘Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.’” Romans 9-11

“If you confess your sins, God is faithful to forgive your sins and cleanse you from all
unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9

It’s not a religion, or philosophy, or wishful thinking that answers the question of our eternal existence. It’s only found through Jesus.
