Part of growing up and growing in Christ is finding the right place for you.  If you are a sophomore or older, we have many opportunities here at New Horizons for you to connect with other students, get involved in leadership, and most importantly, deepen your committment to Christ.

Here's How:

Leadership

This is a very general area.  There are many ways for young people to step up and become do-ers of Christ.  Without student leaders our ministry would not be nearly as effective.  Leadership takes on many forms, some as simple as cleaning up after service, some as complex as planning events.  Here's where student leaders can help:

Greeters

Greeting students as they come in and make them feel welcome. Making sure new students have been checked in and connect them with other kids in the youth group.

Follow-Up Team

Sending out letters, calling and even going and visiting the new students that came to Youth Group that Wednesday Night.  Also, calling those students who were gone that week.

Games/Activities

Coming up with fresh, fun and exciting new games to play that everyone can enjoy!
